Get a Head start on Christmas Gift Giving

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share with you a new item in my Etsy shop! It's a set designed to give you a head start on all your gift giving! I've included in the set 3 wine tags, 6 gift tags and a gift card holder/card. Perfect for those early parties we attend, you know they're gonna start soon! I decided to go with non-traditional colours and I LOVE the way they turned out. I made a second set which I might just have to keep for myself!

With all those wine bottles we gift away, why not attached a personal handmade wine tag instead of those bags we all know we buy!!

Here's a quick couple of pictures for you to peek at, or better yet go check them out at my Etsy shop www.harvestmoonpaper.etsy.com

Till next time, take care!!

It's a Busy Time of Year!!!!!!

Hello! Long time no blog! Sorry for my absence, but I celebrated my birthday right after Easter, and it's been crazy busy in my house! Must apologize also for not getting around to posting my Easter projects, gifts, crafts and cards. BUT, I do have a couple of cards for you today!! (Patting myself on the back for getting these up on my blog in all the craziness going on!)

I married into quite the big family, and we have just kept growning over the years. Anyhow springtime at our house means religious events, communions, confirmations and graduations. We have 3 communions coming up in the next couple weeks, so I thought I would share my cards with you.

I made a male version and a female version of the first card, and the last card is for my youngest daughter's best friend who is celebrating her first communion on the same day as my daughter - they are so excited!!!

I used my Cricut to cut out the cross on all the cards, using the Wedding Solutions cartridge. The stamped sentiment is from Stampin Up! (of course!) as is the top note die cut (the shaped background). Let me know what you think, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Take care till next time!

Easter Bunny Has Come Visiting

I'm trying to get a head start on Easter, and so far this is what I have come up with .... an Easter card! It was actually simple to make with my handy dandy cricut machine and the Animal Kingdom cartridge along with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I used the oval punch from Stampin Up! for the eggs and the Sizzix XL bigz Top Note die cut for the background. I thought the card turned out pretty cute so I made a couple of them! My girlfriend sells my cards for me at her office, so I am trying to get a couple of new ones made for her, along with one or two for my Etsy shop!

The supplies!!!

from Stampin Up!
Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip and kraft cardstock
Large oval punch
Sizzix Top Note die cut
Well Scripted stamp set from the Occassions Mini catalog (quick only available till April 30th!!)

Cricut cartridges
Animal Kingdom for the bunny
Plantin Schoolbook for the grass

Take care till next time, and remember all comments are appreciated!!

Pink Invitations

We're having a party for my youngest daughter shortly and I made up these invitations to send out. She's quite the girly girl so I thought pink invitations would do the trink!

These were super easy to make, and lots of fun too. Took 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and cut in half, then do two folds to make the base of the card. Used the scallop trim punch on the edge of one card. Then cut another (white) piece of cardstock in 4 for the inside and used the corner rounder punch on all 4 corners. After that stamp the floral image and then stamp with the invite stamp and you're pretty much done. For the belly band I used DSP and then stamped You're Invited on the pink cardstock and punched out with the small oval punch. Then punched a bunch of the scallop ovals out and adhered them together on the belly band. Put it all together and VOILA!

I love all the Stampin Up! accessories along with the stamps because everything works together so well!

Supplies
Pretty in Pink, Real Red and Chocolate Chip cardstock
Small oval punch
Scallop oval punch
Corner rounder punch
Scallop Trim border punch
Wedding Sweet stamp set (for the flourish)
Introducing stamp set

If you want to leave a comment, I'd love to hear what you think!

Gonna try again and leave a direct link to the Sale a bration catalog! I stamper I am, a smart and savy computer person, I am not!!!

http://www.stampinup.com/ca/documents/SAB_10_CAN.pdf

So although it's not really working (you can't just click on it!!) you can copy and paste it into your browser!

Sorry, I'm terrible at this stuff!!

Birthday Boy card

I definately stuggle when it comes to making a masculine card! I can't very well fill in the empty spots with flowers now can I. So I'm sort of pleased with how this card came out. I had the patterened paper at home, and used the scallop square punch, added a stamped sentiment, a button and a cupcake, all manly things right? and called it done! What do you think? Using kraft paper as the base really helped too I think.

Supplies

from Stampin Up!

kraft cardstock
scallop square punch (so handy!)
sentiment from the Birthday Bliss stamp set

Martha Stewart cupcake punch

Enjoy your Friday!!!!

Hi Everyone! Happy Sunday!

So while I'm spending the day working today, I wanted to share some of my plans with you.

I've been spending lots of time checking out other bloggers, and specifically bloggers who are Stampin Up! demonstrators, and decided I'm going to go ahead and become a more 'active' demonstrator! I've actually been a Stampin Up! demonstrator for over a year now, but mostly used the perks for my own personal use. I just simply love the product!! So I've decided to share my love of the product with all of you! Having said that, I'm going to active my Stampin Up! website today! Which means for all of you Canadians out there reading this, you will now be able to order Stampin Up! products directly through me from my website 24/7........pretty exciting eh!!? I thought so!

If you like, I would love for you to sign up and follow me! I'm going to try and post a new project every couple of days, and I'll be listing all the information for you of supplies etc. Please be patient with me though, I find it very hard to take beautiful photos like all the other blogs I see! LOL!! I'll supply a picture, so you get the idea, but photographer is not in my repertoire!

So what do you think, are you as excited as I am about this? Leave a comment if you like, I'd love to hear from you guys, and keep a lookout for the link to my new Stampin Up! website, coming later today!!

My Valentine Wreath

Hi Everyone, how are you all doing? I'm much better today, not in a bah humbug mood anymore! I'm at home with access to my computer and photos so all is good in my world! LOL!! oh and I did receive that package from Stampin Up! so as soon as I am finished here, I'm off to make more goodies!

So today I'm gonna quickly share my Valentine wreath with you. I cut all the hearts with my Cricut (George cartidge) and used lots of different patterned Valentine paper. It took me awhile to get this done as it was a bit harder to stick the first few hearts onto the wreath than I thought, but once I managed that it was just a matter of layering!

So what do you think, kinda cute eh?
I'll be back with some more fun stuff to share! And by the way, am I not being so good so far this year? I'm actually blogging and updating on a regular basis, that's pretty big for me!

Thanks again for visiting, and you're welcome to leave any comments, I love reading them!

Take care,

Sorry about that, but please check back tomorrow, I should have my photos up by then!!

On a happier note, I'm excited to get home today. I'm pretty sure I have a package waiting for me from Stanpin Up! I ended up ordering the Sizzix Big Shot for all the incredible die cuts that Stampin Up! has. I ordered the cute little milk carton, the Baskets and Blooms die cut and one more, which I forget at the moment! LOL!! But I have big plans for that little milk cartoon! Gonna fill it with chocolate goodies for my kiddies for Valentine's day.........can't wait to decorate it!

Catching Up!

So wow I can't believe I've been away for so long! Things just get to hectic here, and my favorite things sort of just get pushed to the side. So for the past little while I've not been very faithful to my blog! I'm going to try and become more faithful, and start sharing again all the fun stuff I've been able to do.

I've been checking out a lot of other blogs lately and it's motivated me! It's also really motivated me to get back into my Stampin Up stuff! I just placed a new order and can't wait to show you all the fun stuff I have in mind. I think I'm gonna start to list all the products and things that I use, which might be useful to you all in case you would like to try it to! Remember if you ever like something you see here, you can always contact me for more information.

I have a lot of things coming up this year that I'm gonna be working on to, so hopefully you'll see a variety of ideas and creations! We have a first communion, which I'm going to do invitations and thank you's etc. I also have a Sweet 16 coming up! Not sure what we are doing with that, but I think I'll be making invites again at least! Not to mention Valentines day is fast approaching, so be sure to check back in the next few days as I have already made a couple of things, just need to be photographed and posted!

And who knows, there may even be a few surprises coming up as well!

Take care, and see you in a couple days........promise!!!!
