Question For You......What do You do with Your Scraps?
Good morning all,
I've been thinking about this for the past few days, and wanted to ask, what does everyone do with their scraps/leftover papers from other projects?
I have 2 small drawers FULL of scrap paper and right beside my paper cutter is a whole stack of leftovers and scraps. I keep everything because I think I'm wasting money/paper if I just throw it out, but I think it's actually been distracting me lately. I try and use the same colours as the scraps, then don't have enough paper for the project I want to do, then can't seem to change colour schemes because I can't think beyond what's on the scrap table!
I do sometimes gather my scraps and give them to my daughter to use, but then I'll see her doing something with a paper I like and think, what is she doing with that! LOL!
So I'm wondering, what do you guys do with your scraps??
I'm looking forward to your responses!

New in My Etsy Shop
Hello everyone, if you live in Toronto, I hope you are enjoying the wonderful weather we are having today! Awesome plus 10 here!!
Just popping in quickly to share a new card with you that I added to my Etsy shop yesterday. I kind of love the shabby chic type of look, but I'm not very good at it, so I sort of add elements of it to some of my cards. For this card, I took the scalloped squares and scrunched them all up then unfolded them and glued to the card. It's hard to tell in the picture, but it gives it sort of a warn kind of look that I really love. So there you go, another quick tip, if you want to make something look worn or rustic, just scrunch it up! Great stress reliever too! The sentiment is one of the SALEBRATION items I recieved FREE with a $60 order!! How fab is that!
Click on the link at the top right of my blog to take you to my Stampin Up! website, hit the Promotions button and find out all about SALEABRATION going on now. It's Stampin Up! biggest promotion of the year!
Hope you like the card!
Take care,

There's Something Fabulous About You!
Good morning!!
So I saw another fabulous sketch over at Cardabilities, and decided to play along again this week! So much fun! If I was more tech knowledgable I would be able to provide you with a link to their blog, but I'm not so I'll just type it in here and you can paste to your browser!
Here's my card for this week, it's going to be a birthday card for my SIL!! Hey I'm actually early with a card this month! Yeah me!!
Used the Top Note die cut from Stampin Up! and the new cupcake punch, so fun and stinking cute!! I'm also thrilled because I learned a new technique this week! See the gathered ribbon across the bottom? I finally learned how to do it! Not too bad for a first attempt. I've seen this technique on hundrends of cards and was always so jealous! I thought there was sewing or something like involved, turns out all you have to do is apply a strip of sticky tack, or whatever you use, and stick, gather and twist the ribbon where you want it, SO EASY! You'll be seeing more of this now that I learned how easy that was!! Thanks again Becky Roberts for sharing your tips with us!!
Please feel free to leave any comments or questions!!!
Also, coming soon - a new class I'm going to be holding shortly! If you love rubber stamping and paper crafting, come join me in a fun and easy new class! Details and photos to be added shortly!

A Few More Valentine Treats!!
Here's a couple more treats I made for the kiddies for Valentine's day. It's another Stampin Up! Big shot (You really need one of these!) die, the Mini Milk Carton. Cut out 4 of them, decorated them simply because they are so stinking cute, they don't need much embellishing, and filled with jelly beans (pink, white and red of course!) Also used the Modern label punch from Stampin Up! and the Scalloped edge punch for decorating.
Huge sale going on over at Stampin Up! so go on over to my website (top right corner of my blog for the link) and check it out! Who doesn't like free stuff!!?? For every $60 purchase you make, you get a FREE ITEM from the SALEABRATION catalog, how cool is that!! You can even order directly online through my website.
I used a bit of a cheaper patterned paper, and you can see the white core of the paper coming through where I had to fold. Note to self, remember not to buy the cheaper stuff anymore!!

Anyhow, die cut 4 of them, decorated them, and am filling them with chocolates or jelly beans for the kids and the hubby! So easy, and SO FUN!!!
Remember, Stampin Up! has a HUGE sale going on right now SALEABRATION and for every $60 you order, you get to choose an item for FREE from the Saleabration catalog! Who doesn't like FREE stuff! Valentine Treat for the Teacher
Here's a quick little project I did for my daughter's teacher for Valentine's day. It's a cute little folder and inside I made 4 little Thank You note cards (because you know teacher's can always use those!) and in the other pocket, I decorated a bag of microwave popcorn!
The folder was super easy, and only uses one piece of 8.50 x 11 cardstock!
Black and red patterned paper is Stampin Up! dsp LOVE LETTERS (which I love!) and I used the same paper on the thank you cards.
Any questions, give me a shout, or leave a comment and I'll respond. Thanks for being so patient while I was out with the cold!
I'm off to finish up some little cuties for my kids for Valentine's day. Just picked up all my goodies at Bulk Barn, now to wrap it all. Will post pics in a couple of days, since they never visit my blog! LOL!!
Take care,
