A Few More Valentine Treats!!

Here's a couple more treats I made for the kiddies for Valentine's day. It's another Stampin Up! Big shot (You really need one of these!) die, the Mini Milk Carton. Cut out 4 of them, decorated them simply because they are so stinking cute, they don't need much embellishing, and filled with jelly beans (pink, white and red of course!) Also used the Modern label punch from Stampin Up! and the Scalloped edge punch for decorating.

I used a bit of a cheaper patterned paper, and you can see the white core of the paper coming through where I had to fold. Note to self, remember not to buy the cheaper stuff anymore!!

Valentine Treat Boxes

Here's a cute little box I cut out with my BIg SHOT (you HAVE to get one of these!!) and the BOX #2 die cut from Stampin Up! This box is just so stinking cute, and has endless possibilities! Anyhow, die cut 4 of them, decorated them, and am filling them with chocolates or jelly beans for the kids and the hubby! So easy, and SO FUN!!!

Valentine Treat for the Teacher

Here's a quick little project I did for my daughter's teacher for Valentine's day. It's a cute little folder and inside I made 4 little Thank You note cards (because you know teacher's can always use those!) and in the other pocket, I decorated a bag of microwave popcorn!

The folder was super easy, and only uses one piece of 8.50 x 11 cardstock!

Black and red patterned paper is Stampin Up! dsp LOVE LETTERS (which I love!) and I used the same paper on the thank you cards.

Can Anyone Help Me........?

So I have quite a few favorite blogs that I visit daily, the only problem is that most of them are from the US. They make the cutest little things, but tend to use items that I can't find here in Canada! So I'm asking for your help!! Does anyone know if we can buy the little HERSEY'S NUGGETS here in Canada??? And if so, WHERE!!!

I have a COLD!!

Hello everyone,

I've been MIA for the past few days as I came down with a yucky cold. I don't do colds very well! They last forever with me, and make me pretty miserable to be around! Although I have been making things the last few days, I haven't taken any pics :(

I'm going to work on a couple of things, and get them posted to share with you.

Thanks for hanging in while I get a little better, and less miserable! LOL!!

Valentine Treat

Hi there, how's everyone's Valentine shopping going? I try to give a little something to lots of people on Valentine's day, so I start early! Nothing big, just little something sweet and usually a little handmade gift.

This is going to be for the secretary at our school. She's such a wonderful lady, and she just loves all the kids at the school. It's made from 2 cups (I purchased a pkg of them at walmart!) that I decorated with patterned paper, then made this cute little holder for them. I decorated the holder with hearts, stamps, a scallop border and some ribbon. I got the idea for this from Becky Roberts blog at christmas time, and have used it several times already. It's really quite fun to do! I'm gonna fill the cups with little sweets, chocolates etc.

Hope she likes it!

P.S. If you search Becky's blog, she is an amazingly talented lady, and you can find awesome ideas on her site, and she gives lots of instructions too!

Actually Doing a Card Challenge!

I saw this card design on someone else's blog and FELL IN LOVE with it! So I decided to check it out and give it a try. The design was so wonderful I decided to make a birthday card using the colours red, white, blue and brown. I love this colour combination together!!

They post wonderful card designs, give you some examples from their design team, then challenge you to make a card using their design.....fun!!!
