Valentine Treats

So here's what I've been working on for the past couple of days. They're Valentine treat holders for my nieces and nephews. I plan on filling the little bags inside with Valentine smarties. They are super simple to make too!
So here's what I used:
Patterned paper I had on hand from last year
Scallop edge punch from Stampin Up! (112091)
I cut the heart and U with my cricut (I LOVE my cricut!!)
Simple, quick and hand made! Love it!
See you soon,

Catching Up!

So wow I can't believe I've been away for so long! Things just get to hectic here, and my favorite things sort of just get pushed to the side. So for the past little while I've not been very faithful to my blog! I'm going to try and become more faithful, and start sharing again all the fun stuff I've been able to do.

I've been checking out a lot of other blogs lately and it's motivated me! It's also really motivated me to get back into my Stampin Up stuff! I just placed a new order and can't wait to show you all the fun stuff I have in mind. I think I'm gonna start to list all the products and things that I use, which might be useful to you all in case you would like to try it to! Remember if you ever like something you see here, you can always contact me for more information.

I have a lot of things coming up this year that I'm gonna be working on to, so hopefully you'll see a variety of ideas and creations! We have a first communion, which I'm going to do invitations and thank you's etc. I also have a Sweet 16 coming up! Not sure what we are doing with that, but I think I'll be making invites again at least! Not to mention Valentines day is fast approaching, so be sure to check back in the next few days as I have already made a couple of things, just need to be photographed and posted!

And who knows, there may even be a few surprises coming up as well!

Take care, and see you in a couple days........promise!!!!

What a great Blog!!!

I'm always looking for great sites to get ideas from, and everyone knows how much I love my Cricut machine, and making cards. Well I found this amazing site that shows great ideas and different cuts for the Cricut machine. If you're looking for creative ideas, go and check them out... http://the-gypsyspot.blogspot.com

They focus on the newest Cricut machine that came out, the Gypsy! I don't have one yet, but I'm hoping that I've been a really good girl this year, and Santa might bring me one for Christmas!!!

Well take care for now, I'll be back again with more updates etc!!!

Cards and more cards!

I'm back......sort of!

Well after I made that batch of cards life decided to get busier than it already was and I haven't had a chance to pop back on here!

I have still been busy making cards and such, just haven't had a moment to post them here, and tell you all about them.

Well, it's still pretty busy here, so I'm sorry I'm just gonna post some cards I've been working on lately, and had time to photograph! and then I'm gonna run again!

Lots of stuff on my plate these days, and little time for fun.......like card making and my paper crafting!

I promise to be back again soon...........really......honestly.......soon!!!
Take care till then, and hope you like my new ones.

PS - I haven't even had a chance to list these on my etsy shop yet, but if you are interested in anything you see here, just give me a shout. If you'd like something custom done, give me a shout! I've already been approached for a couple of custom things, and those are the ones I love doing, so please, don't hesitate........give me a shout! LOL!!

I've finally been card making again!

My SIL has asked me to make a few cards for her and I am so excited. I love making cards, but I love it more when I have a purpose for making them, or know who they are for!
I'll just share a couple of them with you, as I don't want her peeking and seeing them before she receives them! LOL!!!
Kids are back in school soon, so I'm hoping to have a little bit more time to pop in here a bit more often. Well at least I have good intentions.........LOL!!!
Let me know what you think, and I'll see you again shortly!
Take care,

Summer's been Busy!

With the kids home this summer, it's been busy around here, trying to keep them active. But I found some time to get a few cards done! Haven't had a chance to list them in my Etsy shop yet, but they should be there in the next few days.

Hope your summer is going fantastic, and I hope I'll be here a bit more frequently come September......LOL!!!

The card with the little lamb is one of my favorites!

Take care,

Mini Paper bag Wedding Photo Album in Pink and Black

Hello there! Yes, I know, it's been awhile........again!
Things were a little crazy here for awhile. School finishing, teacher appreciation cards & gifts, dance recitals, exams..........you get the idea. Of course, as usual I forgot to take photos of everything, so I can't share them with you.
However, I do have this one to share! I just added a new item to my etsy shop, and I'm thrilled, because it's been ages since I was able to list a new item!
This is a handmade paper bag photo album, with a wedding theme. I came across these gorgeous pink and black patterned papers and fell in love with them. The album is approx 5x5 inches and the last page has a little pocket for you to put extra photos, name tags, anything you like.
If you pop over to my etsy shop (link on the right!) you can view a couple more photos.
Well gotta run, getting ready for company tomorrow. Guess that means no crafting for me for a few days.........again!
Take care,

Invitations Made!!!

My sister in law asked me to make the invitations for my nephews baptism, and I was so excited, until it came down to actually making them and my mind went blank!!

So I started to think of my SIL and what she likes and COLOUR came to mind. She loves colourful things. So then I decided on a cross for the religious aspect of the ceremony, then thought about layering a few crosses on top of each other. Well it's not exactly what I pictured in my mind, but it may be even better! The result looks like a stained glass cross!!! I thought it was neat.
Now the insecure part of me has to show them to my SIL!! Hope she loves them as much I loved making them!

Take care till next time,
